The Henry family has been here for over 60 years.
John and Marian Henry lived on this property for 50 years, and it is now maintained by their sons and grandchildren for the next generation.
Prior to its conversion to the Magee Marsh Wildlife area, Marian would take her grandchildren to the beach at Crane Creek to swim and enjoy the summer weather on Lake Erie. We have many fond memories of family time here.
Most of our land is used for farming, but we are excited to open up our wetlands to those birders who can also appreciate the wildlife that migrates through Ottawa County and Magee Marsh each year.
